What Leora is not, stated before you rely on it rather than after.

Leora is not an accountant

Leora is a record-keeping tool. It records what you tell it and shows it back to you. It does not provide accounting, auditing, bookkeeping, tax, legal, investment or financial advice, and using it does not create a professional or advisory relationship of any kind between you and us.

Where a decision matters — a filing, a return, a loan application, a dispute — consult a qualified professional who has seen your actual books. Leora is a place to put the numbers, not a person who can tell you what they mean.

The machine will sometimes be wrong

Two automated steps sit between your sentence and your ledger:

  • Speech recognition converts your voice into text. It mishears. Accents, background noise, a busy shop, and sentences that switch between Arabic and English mid-way all reduce its accuracy.
  • A language model converts that text into an amount, a type, a category and a counterparty. It can misread an amount, choose the wrong category, or split one transaction into two.

This is expected behaviour, not a defect. It is precisely why Leora shows you every value it produced, marks the ones it was unsure about, and lets you change any of them in one tap before the record is saved.

Checking the numbers is your responsibility

You are the last check, and the only one that counts. By using Leora you accept that:

  • You will review what Leora produced before treating it as a record.
  • The accuracy and completeness of your books are your responsibility, not ours.
  • We are not liable for any loss arising from a figure you did not check — including tax assessed, penalties charged, or decisions taken on a wrong number.

Do not submit a tax return, a VAT filing, or any statement to an authority from a Leora export without reading it first.

Tax and regulatory obligations remain yours

Leora does not calculate, prepare, submit or file anything to any tax authority, in the United Arab Emirates or anywhere else. It does not determine whether you must register for VAT or corporate tax, whether a transaction is taxable, or which rate applies.

Knowing what you owe, keeping records in the form the authority requires, and filing on time are entirely your obligations. Leora may help you keep the underlying records; it does not discharge any duty you have.

Leora is not a bank or a payment service

Leora does not hold, move, transfer or process money. It records that money moved, after the fact, because you said so. It is not a bank, not a payment institution, not an e-wallet, and it is not connected to your bank account.

Not a backup of last resort

We take care with your data and you can export it at any time — but Leora is not an archival service, and no software should be the only place a business record exists. Export regularly and keep your own copy. If you delete your account, the data is gone permanently and we cannot recover it.

Availability and change

Features described on this site may change, and parts of Leora depend on third-party services that can fail or be withdrawn. Nothing here is a guarantee that a particular capability will exist in future.
